Hi, I’m Brittny — a Calgary-based photographer with over 10 years of professional experience capturing people, moments, and stories.
Today, I spend most of my time in the corporate and commercial photography world, working with brands, organizations, and event professionals to create polished, people-focused imagery. Alongside that work, I intentionally take on a limited number of weddings and family sessions each year — the kind that are personal, meaningful, and story-driven.
I’m a graduate of the Photography Program at Mount Royal University in Calgary, and I was fortunate early in my career to learn from respected industry mentors, including lighting expert Tracy Elliott. That foundation continues to shape my approach to photography: clean lighting, thoughtful composition, and images that feel natural rather than over-produced.
My style is best described as timeless, natural, and people-centric. I don’t rely on heavy filters or trendy edits. Instead, I focus on soft light, accurate colour, and real expression — images that still feel true years from now. Whether I’m photographing a corporate event, a wedding day, or a family session, the goal is always the same: genuine connection and honest moments.
During our time together, I’ll guide you when it’s helpful and step back when it’s not. We’ll move, laugh, and keep things relaxed so the experience feels easy — not forced. The result is imagery filled with real smiles, emotion, and energy.
My work has been internationally published and award-recognized, but what matters most to me is trust. Many of my clients return year after year, and it’s a privilege to be invited back to document milestones both big and small.
Outside of photography, I’m a wife and mom of three — a perspective that deeply informs how I approach my work and the care I bring to each experience.
If you’re looking for a Calgary photographer with strong technical foundations, a calm presence, and a love for meaningful storytelling — whether for a corporate project, a wedding, or a family session — I’d love to connect.
