Nahum and Amy were married late in July of this year. Their wedding was nothing short of perfect. They wanted a simple wedding, one where they could focus on one another and enjoy the celebration with their family. I met Amy at her house the morning of the wedding just as the final touches of hair and make up were being done. I had the pleasure of driving Amy to meet her groom. She was so relaxed and excited at the same time. Amy is such an easy person to talk to. It is easy to pick up on how caring she is. She puts others first all the time and it's was clear that she isn't used to being the center of attention. Nahum was waiting for us at Reader Rock Garden. It was a sunny, beautiful Friday afternoon. Nahum was speechless when he saw his bride for the first time. My assistant and I took a step back to let them enjoy the once in a lifetime moment.
After our formals were done, we went over to the Croatian Canadian Cultural Centre for the ceremony and reception. Instead of choosing a maid of honor and best man, they surprised their guests by drawing names to choose who signed the certificate. We did some family photos and the bride and groom went into the centre to enjoy the evening with their guests.
Thank you to this amazing couple for being such awesome people to work with! I am grateful you chose me to capture your day!
